About Me

I'm a true, independent western critter, born and raised in Wyoming and so proud of that fact. I was blest with a dad who loved and respected the great outdoors and taught us to do the same. I've been able to pass that on to our children. I hope we can get to know each other and share the ups and downs of our lives.

A New Year

This is the 2nd day of the year 2011. There's snow on the ground and the temperature is hovering around 5 degrees above zero. I have to go back to work tomorrow after having more than a week off and spending high quality time with Rachel, Greg and our wonderful grandkids.

I'm very thankful that I have a job waiting for me and co-workers that will be glad I'm back.

We never know just what is ahead of us and what the new year will bring. We do know what is behind us and it is our job to learn from that and to try to take what steps we can to make the lives of those around us easier and happier.

I'm not one to make New Year's Resolutions, however, I'm going to try even harder to do or say something to the people I encounter so when they walk away they will have a smile on their face and step at least a little lighter.

Best wishes for you to have a wonderful 2011

Patsy
